Tourism WA identified the potential for helicopter services from the Geraldton area. They engaged Ascentive to assess the potential market and service parameters for commercial helicopter services in the Geraldton region. Our work involved stakeholder engagement through surveys and community sessions, liaising with government departments, site visits, and identifying tourism and operational opportunities. We also conducted an initial risk assessment. A comprehensive report was provided, outlining key findings for future planning. Outcomes included potential partnerships with Geraldton businesses, a contact database for potential clients, and confirming support from landowners for operating locations.
