WMHSAC provide highly effective, culturally responsive and patient-centred health services to local communities. With increasing demand for services, WMHSAC identified the need to expand provision and that existing facilities have reached capacity. The medical centre expansion project will also support WMHSAC’s upstream health model. Our team worked with WMHSAC to develop business cases for a staff housing program, clinic expansion, registered training delivery models, and an expanded environmental health service. We provided needs assessments, financial forecasts, and strategic alignments to support funding opportunities. As a result of this work, WMHSAC was awarded funding of $10.2 million for the clinic expansion through the National Indigenous Australian Agency. Funding prospectus proposals were also developed for the resource sector, seeking an additional $9.8 million to allow delivery of this $20 million project.
