Swimming Pool Needs and Feasibility

The Shire of Plantagenet’s Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool (MBMSP) facilities, which were nearing 50 years old, are a valuable community asset. The community and the Shire prioritised investigating the need and feasibility of redeveloping the swimming pool and engaged Ascentive to assist in this process. This included seeking community and stakeholder input and information and undertaking a comparative analysis to identify, investigate and guide decisions around future development options. An updated Lifecycle Cost Analysis was prepared to support funding applications.
