The Shire of Toodyay engaged Ascentive Consulting to assist in a facilities and buildings evaluation to support future decisions in relation to each facility and building. Seventy-one (71) facilities and buildings were considered in accordance with a customised multi-criteria assessment methodology. The assessment allowed the Council to identify which buildings were meeting community needs to a high degree, as well as opportunities for co-location and efficiencies, deep maintenance/refurbishment, and further consideration/rationalisation. Recommendations were made to allow the Council to optimise resources to enhance service delivery to the community.
