Mark Weller was engaged as Project Manager for the construction of the Kambalda 50m Swimming Pool Upgrade. The scope included retaining, refurbishing, retiling, and sealing the 50-metre pool, construction of a new plant room and modernising existing facilities and amenities. We also addressed compliance issues linked to health and safety regulations, including features aimed at improved operational efficiencies, developed accessibility features for people with disabilities, seniors and families and landscaping shade and other amenities. During opening speeches, the Shire stated that the project delivered a new 50 m pool facility for $1 million less than the cost other Shires were paying for 25 m pool facilities – a significant win for the local community.
